Schoolgirl donates her hair

An eight-year-old Boston Spa schoolgirl took the chop to raise money for the Little Princess Trust.

Primrose Lane pupil Kerryann Williams, of Churchfields, decided she wanted to donate her very long red locks to the charity which makes wigs out of donated hair for poorly children battling cancer and other illnesses.

The brave youngster, supported by mother Melanie Cox and father Ben Williams, has so far raised over £200 after the drastic hair cut last Thursday.
